Speaker: Thomas Haines (Maryland) Abstract: Timo Richarz and I recently proved the test function conjecture for local models of Shimura varieties with parahoric level structure, and their equal characteristic analogues. I will explain the statement, some relevant history and examples, along with an outline of part of the proof.
